Travis was born and raised in New Braunfels. His mother is a New Braunfels native and his father is a local district judge serving Comal, Guadalupe and Hays counties. Travis’ wife, Calynn, is also a New Braunfels native. Travis graduated from New Braunfels High School then attended the University of Texas with where he received Bachelor of Science in Communications.
