New Braunfels is a Texas city like no other. Founded by German settlers in 1845, our community continues to embrace its German roots while also celebrating all the things that make us uniquely and proudly Texan. Like our neighbors in Gruene and Canyon Lake, we’re proud of our historic heritage and happy to share it with those who visit.
With a population of 67,000, New Braunfels offers the kind of personal connections you get only in a small town – but with easy access to all the benefits of big-city living just a few miles away in Austin, San Antonio, or Houston. And we’re growing fast.
About Our New Braunfels Law Firm
At Burch Law Firm, we are dedicated to incorporating the small-town, face-to-face feel of our community in our legal practice. When you call our office, you speak to an attorney, not just to one of our support staff.
If you can’t make it to our office for an in-person visit, we’ll come to you – in the evening, over the weekend, in your hospital room or your living room. We’re committed to building a stronger community by helping our clients defend their legal rights, and we’ll go the extra mile to ensure we do so.
By locating our offices in New Braunfels, we’ve placed ourselves in the county seat of Comal County, giving us a short commute to the local courts and keeping us close to the people we serve.
Our clients come from cities and towns throughout Comal and Guadalupe counties, including Bulverde, Cibolo, Fair Oaks Ranch, Garden Ridge, Geronimo, Kingsbury, Marion, McQueeney, New Berlin, Northcliff, Redwood, San Marcos, Santa Clara, Schertz, Seguin, Spring Branch, and even San Antonio and other cities and counties in Central Texas.
Our Attorneys Call New Braunfels Home
The attorneys at Burch Law Firm call New Braunfels our home, and we are proud to do so. Since 1990, attorney Troy Burch has been serving the New Braunfels community. Mr. Burch is a member of the Comal County Bar Association in addition to being a member of the State Bar of Texas.
After attending Texas Christian University and Baylor University School of law, Mr. Burch returned to New Braunfels to work in the community he has called home since childhood. Mr. Burch’s father coached athletics in the New Braunfels schools for many years, teaching young athletes the value of perseverance, teamwork, and dedication. These same values still inspire our work at Burch Law Firm today.
Attorney Travis Steel is another New Braunfels native, as are his parents and his wife, Calynn. Mr. Steel’s father serves as a local district judge in Comal, Guadalupe and Hays counties. After graduating from New Braunfels High School, Mr. Steel attended the University of Texas, followed by Southern Methodist University School of Law. He is also a member of the State Bar of Texas.
